On behalf of our client, a Global High Profile Service Provider to the Oil & Gas industry, Brunel are looking for a Cementing Supervisor for offshore work in Western Australia starting in Jan 2022. With previous relevant cementing and offshore experience, a competitive day rate is on offer!!

  • Under general supervision, coordinates and oversees cementing service line work at the well site, providing quality service to the customer
  • Provides the planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and equipment used, including dispute resolutions to approved levels
  • Ensures customer satisfaction with work performed
  • Coordinates and directs the activities of service operators
  • Coordinates the clean-up, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job
  • Plans and performs necessary calculations for the total job at the well site as needed
  • Leads the site crew
  • Evaluates individual performance levels of the crew and trains operators to improve their job performance
  • Job role has budgetary type of accountabilities or directly impacts a revenue center's viability or its quality of service via personal contributions
  • Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines
  • Promotes and takes an active part in the Quality Improvement Process

  • Possess full Australian working rights
  • National Police Clearance
  • BOSIET (preferred)
  • Previous experience as a Cementing Supervisor
  • Previous experience in Oil & Gas drilling and / or well intervention operations
  • Must be able to work stand alone, lead a team and deal directly with the Client at the well site

FIFO (fly-in fly-out) and local workers on WA mining and resource sites, people who work in remote operations, or run critical infrastructure, including remote train and port control, must receive their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by 12:01am 1 December 2021, and be fully vaccinated by 1 January 2022. This is mandated by the State Gov’t of Western Australia.
