This position will be responsible for driving and coordinating the effective delivery of projects. As a Civil Project Manager you will establish and maintain effective relationships with relevant external and internal stakeholders.

Projects are located in Sydney's thriving Northwest & Southwest, Hunter and Illawarra regions. This role will report directly to the Director / General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with management, plan and review overall status of projects on an ongoing basis.
  • Monitor all works against specifications to ensure the continuing quality and accuracy of work performed.
  • Ensure correct management of variations to contracts, ensuring all the key stakeholders are communicated with.
  • Overall responsibility of management, development and training of site teams.
  • Ensure that relevant information is communicated to suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure that all construction WHS duties and administration is managed and maintained.

Requirements

  • Prior project management experience in the earthmoving and civil construction industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • A committed solid work ethic and the willingness to go the extra yard.
  • A strong commitment to health, safety, environment and quality policies and procedures.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office suite. Use of Office 365 environment and Salesforce.
  • Willingness to travel and work in different locations when required.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development (both personally and for the team).
  • Desire to be part of a "can do", vibrant and dynamic team.
