On behalf of our client, a Global High Profile Service Provider to the Oil & Gas industry, Brunel are looking for 4x Crew Chiefs for full time permanent work in Western Australia starting in January 2022. With previous relevant offshore experience, a competitive market rate with field bonuses are on offer!!

  • Coordinates the work of Operator Assistants and Service Operators at the job site during the operation surface and down hole well logging equipment
  • Coordinates the activities of Operator Assistants and Service Operators during rigging up and rigging down of surface and down hole well logging equipment
  • Performs pre job calculations as required
  • Obtains pertinent service work information from the customer and effectively communicates appropriate information to assigned worksite staff
  • Communicates pre job and on the job progress to customer
  • Communicates and negotiates with customer to resolve issues concerning invoicing service irregularities
  • Recognises possible sales opportunities for the Company’s other products and services and communicates information to Service Coordinator or appropriate Company staff
  • Trains and provides guidance to Service Operators and Operator Assistants in the proper performance of pre trip and post trip vehicle and equipment inspections and associated paperwork and / or reports
  • Trains Service Operators and Operator Assistants in the assembly, operation, and maintenance of surface and downhole well logging equipment including electric, nuclear, sonic, other well logging tools, and pressure control equipment
  • Completes appropriate documents, reports and forms that affect the financial results of the business unit (field ticket etc.)

  • Possess full Australian working rights
  • National Police Clearance
  • BOSIET (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years offshore experience
  • Previous experience as a Crew Chief

FIFO (fly-in fly-out) and local workers on WA mining and resource sites, people who work in remote operations, or run critical infrastructure, including remote train and port control, must receive their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by 12:01am 1 December 2021, and be fully vaccinated by 1 January 2022. This is mandated by the State Gov’t of Western Australia.
