About this role: Electrical Drafter - Green Fleet Development

On behalf of our client, a dynamic High Profile Renewable Energy Group, Brunel has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Drafter - work location in the eastern suburbs for a 6 month contract, will a possible view to extend!

  • Develop detailed design drawings using MicroStation and Solidworks Electrical
  • Ensure documentation is to Company standard is provided
  • Design and deliver Electrical systems for Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) Green Fleet Development projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
  • Design review and validation of various engineering designs and associated components
  • Resolution of technical and design issues
  • Capable of prioritising and delivering work in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to adjust to change quickly and adapt to new requirements
  • Proactively deliver on the Company’s stretch targets
  • Interpret engineering drawings, documents, specifications, and scopes
  • Ensure compliance to the project management process by project owners
  • Liaising with a range of key stakeholders on all technical aspects of projects
  • Providing regular updates to the Principal Electrical Engineer including work progress, risks, and priorities



  • Electrical, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering degree, diploma, or trade
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical drafting
  • Familiar with FMG drawing standard is advantageous
  • Experience with heavy mobile equipment Inverter systems
  • Experience in Power Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with operation of inverters, chargers and VSD
  • Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders and in multidiscipline teams
  • High commitment to safety
  • Excellent interpersonal awareness with ability to work well in a team
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a drive for excellence
  • Results driven, responsible and accountable
