We have an urgent opening for Electrical Engineer for our client aleading company to join their growing team. This would be

a long term contract for 3 years, Initial 4 months in Korea (On company payroll) & will be transferred to Brunel Payroll when in Kakinada.

  • Be the Technical Advisor-Electrical for day-to-day Operations, providing input to the Operational Performance Standard (OPS) and Maintenance Management;
  • Monitor on a continuous basis that the FPSO performs within the relevant performance standards and advise on suitable remedial actions as necessary;
  • Ensure the efficiency and quality is achieved for maintenance, inspection and repair of electrical equipment and systems throughout the life cycle of FPSO;
  • Ensure that the asset is adequately maintained to ensure class, flag state and other regulatory requirements are met;
  • Prepare / review relevant operational procedures;
  • Actively contribute to incident investigation and root cause analysis;
  • Review relevant MOCs and approve as applicable;
  • Periodic competence assessment of the offshore Responsible Person Electrical (RPE);
  • Follow up discipline-specific queries raised by client;
  • Update Lesson Learned Register based on Management of Change Request, Shutdown / Breakdown Reports review, Survey / Audit Reports etc.;
  • Conduct and/or participate in Thermographic Imaging surveys of electrical equipment, in accordance with the relevant procedures, prepare reports and organize any remedial actions and repeat surveys;
  • Conduct and/or participate in periodic inspection of Ex-rated electrical and instrument equipment, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
