Brunel are seeking an Environmental Advisor to join a global leader in the mining sector, on a FIFO 2/1 roster to the Pilbara. Reporting directly to the Environmental Superintendent, the role will primarily be responsible for ensuring compliance in accordance with legal obligations and management of contracting partners.

  • Monitor land use and issue disturbance permits.
  • Review designs and spatial data and prepare GIS maps.
  • Analyse and interpret surface water and groundwater monitoring data.
  • Contractor management, including conducting audits, work area inspections and training.
  • Compile annual statutory reports, monthly contractor reports and internal reports.
  • Conduct environmental incident investigations.



  • Environmental advisory experience in the construction sector.
  • Tertiary qualification within Environmental Science or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of environmental legislation and environmental approval process.
  • Ability to form positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in auditing and incident investigations will be beneficial.
