About this role: Estimator

As one of Australia’s leaders in the geosynthetic industry, our client has developed expertise in providing end to end solutions, ensuring only the highest quality products are delivered. Projects that they have successfully delivered include geomembranes for small farm dams to canal linings.

They are now looking for an Estimator from a mechanical or fabrication background to join their Brisbane office. We are looking for candidates that have experience with costing time and materials as well as material take off.

Requirements

You will be a self-motivated and driven team player. You will have the right technical skills and the interpersonal skills to create strong relationships. Most importantly, you will have an excellent attitude!

  • Mechanical engineering degree
  • Experience estimating mechanical and fabrication jobs
  • A responsible and mature approach to safety
  • A team focused attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally
  • Ability to deal with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external
  • Experience in the synthetic industry is desirable but not essential
