On behalf of our client, a High Profile Global Integrated Energy Services Group located in the heart of the City, Brunel has a fantastic 6-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity for a Lead - Human Resources. This is an urgent requirement – perfect for candidates who are immediately available!

  • Lead all HR / IR issues for Tenders, Projects and Corporate
  • Maintain HR management system (including associated policies and procedures)
  • Work with all Functional Managers to ensure sufficient capability exists to meet Company objectives through succession planning, managing recruitment, organisational and structural changes
  • Review all policies and procedures as required with the view of ever improving and streamlining the way of working
  • Support the roll out of the Company performance management system to ensure achievement of specific objectives and alignment across the business
  • Nurture a supportive and integrated team environment and develop an understanding of strategic direction (and culture) required to achieve this
  • Maintain up-to-date-organisation chart
  • Coordinate and manage all IR matters in conjunction with external providers as necessary
  • Review and approve monthly and fortnightly payroll processes in line with employee contracts and applicable industrial instruments
  • Provide sound advice to General Manager, Project Managers and BA team on a range of HR/IR issues, ensuring risk is managed to an acceptable level
  • Identify all HR and IR risks, provide mitigation strategies through the HR/IR planning process
  • Manage contractual relationships with external capability providers and consulting groups
  • Lead and manage Compliance area in relation to Company standards
  • Oversee the day to day administration requirements for the office



  • 5+ years’ experience working in a Senior HR Advisory capacity
  • Previous experience within the Oil & Gas industry – offshore regulations
  • HR and IR experience with regards to offshore vessel crews (marine and back deck) and EBAs - will be well regarded
  • Negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills
  • Clear and concise communication skills, confident in delivering HR presentations at management level
  • Demonstrated experience in developing policies and procedures with context
  • Commercially conscious workforce planning abilities
  • Exposure to ADP Payroll Services and SAP SuccessFactors – will be advantageous
