About this role

Our client who is a leading pharmaceutical company is seeking a Document Controller to be responsible for managing the coordination of contract approvals and rebate payments to government and private insurance payers.

It is a contract (which may extend) starting 2021-09-20 to 2021-12-23. This is an in office (Toronto based) role. No remote work


  • Leading PLA rebate invoice payment process:
  • Managing documentation retention and tracking of PLA invoices, invoice validations and validation approvals, as per financial audit requirements
  • Leading invoice payment process (prepare approval documentation package, entry into e-Marketplace, follow-up on approvals,
  • documentation/confirmation of payment delivery)
  • Building tools and processes to increase efficiency in managing the increasing volume of rebates.
  • Supporting quarterly financial audit preparation.
  • Preparing PLA contract sign-off sheet
  • Circulating documentation package for approval (functional area approvals, LT, President)
  • Managing documentation storage (send to legal for ICD entry)




  • Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience with documentation retention
  • Leading invoice payment process
  • great verbal and written communication
