Brunel have partnered with Australia’s leading pipeline construction company to successfully recruit and place a suitably qualified Project Engineer for an 18 month contract position supporting our Clients site-based team on a 26:9 roster, point of origin Perth, Western Australia.

  • Ensure that all works are performed safely and in accordance with the Projects procedures and specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of any procedures that may be needed to execute the Project.
  • Ensure that all testing, pre-commissioning, and Turnover activities are progressing in line with the Project Schedule.
  • Attend project progress meetings and assist in the measurement of progress for monitoring.
  • Work closely with the Construction Superintendents to ensure that the quality of work is in line with the Projects drawings and specifications.
  • Participate in and support the Projects’ Safety Program requirements through, safety walks, attending safety reviews, safety input into procedures, designs and pre commissioning activities.



  • Self-motivated attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to HSE and quality culture and performance in a project environment
  • Technical background and understanding of engineering processes
  • Understanding of resources, schedule and budget management
  • A recognised engineering degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent.
  • 0 - 2+ years of relevant experience
