Introduction

We’re hiring a Key Account Manager – Multiple Myeloma for a Global and innovative pharmaceutical company in Quebec. The role is a field-based position working closely with Hematologic Oncologists, as well as their staff (Nurses, Coordinators, etc.) company products / services expert to ensure crossfunctional resources are made available as appropriate to facilitate the use of relevant products. In this role, you will work closely with Marketing, Medical, Sales, Patient Support, and other Head Officecolleagues. As part of this role, you will also be responsible for scientific exchange of assigned company products (launch brand) as they relate Specialists involved in the treatment of Multiple Myeloma.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated with a proven record in Oncology sales particularly within the Multiple Myeloma setting, superior business acumen, effective management of resources and ability toachieve or surpass corporate goals and sales objectives.

Responsibilities• Oncology products (launch brand for Multiple Myeloma) sales in assigned territory.• Achieve sales objectives and profitably manage territory budget/expenses.• Develop and implement annual territory business plan based on market data and marketingplans. Ensure continuous follow-up and update the plan in response to changing market
dynamics.• Play a key role in enabling the understanding of the potential role of company products in theoptimization of Multiple Myeloma treatment.
• Work within Institutions at all levels to support acceptance and access to company productsincluding management of all Formulary and budget decision making processes.
• Work with relevant community based specialists to facilitate peer : peer sharing of optimaltreatment algorithms.
• Develop territory database for all targeted customers and accounts to be used locally andnationally.
• Identify, profile, cultivate and maintain customer relationships.• Build advocacy within assigned territory.• Implement regional CME (Continuing Medical Education) and other learning programs.• Perform all required administrative duties. This includes all expense reports, marketing reports,and call reporting.
• Work within the company regulatory and legal compliance guidelines.• Attend local, regional and national meetings as directed.• Successfully complete all training programs provided.• Maintain in good order all company property.• Be willing and able to travel (Nationally and Internationally) approximately >50% of the time(somewhat dependent on where successful candidate lives).
• Evening and weekend work will be required

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent• 8+ years sales representative experience in the pharmaceutical industry that includes 4+ yearsspecialty/oncology experience preferably to a multiple myeloma treater audience• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to achieve superior sales results• Leads by example and demonstrates high level of collaboration with internal and externalcounterparts
• Effectively develops and executes sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in assigned salesterritories
• Demonstrated solution-oriented approach to selling and ability to articulate value propositionsappropriate to each level of contact
• Exhibits superior persuasion and negotiation skills to win commitment• Possess excellent technical aptitude and the ability to conduct disease/concept selling• Understanding of local managed markets (public and private) and institutional/hospitalenvironments
• Demonstrate superb written, verbal and presentation skills• Possess excellent planning and organizational skills• Ability to work independently to execute against strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines.• Be computer literate including the ability to use CRM, word processing, spreadsheets, databasesand e-mail software
