On behalf of our client, a World Leading Energy Company, Brunel has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Laboratory Analyst (FIFO). This will be a 12 month contract on the highly sought after 2:2 roster!

  • General analysis requirements pertaining to physical testing of water / waste stream (HACH, TSS, pH, conductivity, general water chemistry techniques)
  • Work will be mainly dealing with Waste streams for the waste treatment facility
  • Have an appreciable level of analytical skills and or background within the Oil & Gas industry (IC, ICP, GC)
  • Gas and liquid sampling experience advantageous
  • Maintain area housekeeping to ensure a safe and clean operational environment
  • Operate LIMS system as a Laboratory User
  • Familiarisation with Laboratory Quality Management Systems (ISO 17025)
  • Maintain equipment, stock and chemicals in the laboratory
  • Be actively involved in the continual improvement of the laboratory



  • Previous FIFO laboratory experience will be advantageous
  • Candidate will need to be well suited to team environment
  • Preferable for candidate to have inoculations for Hepatitis A/ B and Tetanus vaccine due to the nature of the intended work scope
  • Analytical experience with laboratory apparatus physical testing of water / waste stream (HACH, TSS, pH, conductivity, general water chemistry techniques)
  • Safety conscious - good team player
  • Extended analytical capability within Oil & Gas
