Brunel is an industry leader when it comes to delivering successful results for our client base across the Construction, Rail, Infrastructure, Mining, Power and Oil & Gas industries.
Our client is a leading national Civil Contractor. They are now seeking a Mechanical Draftsperson to join their team based in South West WA. The company is offering an attractive salary package and relocation package for the successful candidate.

  • Production and issue of technical drawings (design and detailed drawings) for manufacture.
  • Perform drafting within scope of work supplied.
  • Develop workable solutions in collaboration with engineers, designers and workshop staff.
  • Ensure a high standard of product is developed and supplied to clients.
  • Helps to enhance processes and procedures within the engineering group where possible.
  • Provide a mentor role to trainees and less experienced draftsman.



  • 5+ years’ experience in a Mechanical Draftsman role.
  • Proficient user of the latest version of Autodesk AutoCAD.
  • Proficient user of the latest version of Autodesk Navisworks.
  • Has experience with Autodesk Inventor.
  • Understands quality management systems.
  • Ensures designs are compliant to relevant Australian Standards, Statutory Requirements, and Client Specifications.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Has excellent organisational skills.
  • Has the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to respond to a changing work environment.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
