We have an urgent opening for Mechanical Engineer for our client a leading oil & gas company to join their growing team. This would be 6 months contract (extendable based on client requirement) on Brunel Payroll and the job location would be Chennai.

Working knowledge of current API standards for rotating equipment, particularly centrifugal pumps, centrifugal compressors, auxiliary systems, steam and gas turbines is desired. Basic understanding of PFDs & PIDs is a must. FPSO, Off Shore and Brown field Experience is a plus. Qualification:- Degree in Mechanical Engineering. !! Shall be a Ammonia & Petrochemical field specialist.



8 years of progressive experience in machinery and Package Systems.

Responsible for developing technical requirements, specification and selection of machinery, packaged Equipment, material handling and solids processing systems in compliance with codes and standards. Duties include preparation of datasheets, Specifications, Material Requisition, Evaluation of Technical Bid, Vendor document review and engineering coordination with vendors and inter discipline. Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
