Operational Technology Technician - Hourly Rate contract - QueenslandBrunel Australasia are seeking an Operations Technology Technician. This will be a role based in Queensland responsible for undertaking preventative maintenance and providing technical field support for the mine sites Operational Technology Systems.

This position will be based site-based on 7/7 roster.

You hold a Trade certificate in Auto Electrical, Radio Communications, Electronics or Industrial Electrical.

Familiarity with mining Operations Technology, Communication Networks, Fleet Management and Digital Radio.

Proven track record of safety and ability to prioritise effectively.

Sound communication and interpersonal skills.

Australian C class driver’s license.

Exposure within the mining domain would be advantageous.

Open/unrestricted Cabling License also preferred.

SAP Work Management.

Working at Heights, Confined Space and First Aid training.



Experience in the following Operational Technology Systems would be considered;

Fleet Management Systems / Digital Radio (DRS) / Network and Servers / CCTV / Wireless Telemetry System (WTS) / Site Security Access Systems.

Ability to provide Subject Matter Expertise to support teams to resolve priority issues.

Execute work orders as per schedule and relevant work instructions associated with the work orders.

Provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability.

Validate quality of work performed prior to completion.

Review and request updates to Work Management and other Master Data as required.

Our client has ensured market hourly rate in place for this assignment with option for renewal.
