We are on the hunt for a trusted Business Partner to join the Talent Acquisition team for a very busy Gold Mine Expansion project in Cowal, NSW.
Brunel have partnered with a Leading Australian Gold Miner to recruit a People & Culture Advisor for their Expansion Project in Cowal, NSW. This is a Residential, 2-year Fixed Term Contract and an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of Australia’s largest Gold Projects in the last 15 years!
As the People & Culture Advisor, you will be responsible for providing professional human resources advice and assistance to the site P&C Manager, other departmental managers and all site employees. The main function of the position is to coordinate and support the implementation of site and Group P&C projects/initiatives and assist Senior P&C Advisors with the efficient and effective delivery of routine HR operational services to various departments.
About the role
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for creating and developing strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the companies resourcing and related initiatives. This role will partner with a cornerstone asset undergoing expansion.
Providing a professional end to end recruitment service, understanding best practices and applying a solution to fit the business’s needs.
Key result areas for roles of this nature include:
- Creating job analysis and writing job advertisements accordingly.
- Thinking commercially and providing strategic solutions.
- Reviewing and implementing sourcing methods to secure hard to fill, business critical, and skill gaps to support workforce plans.
- Demonstrating behaviours aligned with the Evolution Mining values.
Driven to deliver, you will demonstrate the ability to take initiative, address challenges and follow through. Working closely and collaboratively with all parts of a business within your 2-5 years’ experience in an end to end (preferably in-house recruitment). It is also important that you have or can demonstrate:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Building trusted and reliable relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail.
