We are currently hiring a Project Coordinator for our client who is a medical communication company. The selected candidate is someone with superior project management and organizational skills who enjoys client-facing interactions and is passionate about making a difference as they begin an exciting adventure in the medical/pharmaceutical landscape. This is a permanent position. The role is remote (Ontario/Quebec).


  • Assist the client services team in effectively managing multiple projects to ensure smooth and accurate execution
  • Interact with clients (pharmaceutical companies and medical professionals), suppliers (freelancers/agencies), and the internal team, actively listening to client input
  • Coordinate all external and internal resources required for the progression of projects and provide clear and timely information
  • Support the account services team in developing project proposals, budgets, timelines internal status reports, contact reports and other communications as required
  • Perform quality assurance of project materials for accuracy and appearance
  • Continuously evaluate status of projects and keep project leads informed of any risks or potential issues impacting client relationships, timelines or budget
  • On occasion, attend events and provide onsite support assisting the Account Managers/Directors or CEO (some domestic and international travel may be required)
  • Play an integral role in the full execution of advisory boards and symposia; including planning and content development phases, in-meeting assistance and the fulfillment of post-meeting




  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, sciences or other medical-related field is an asset; background in project management, communications and/or business is a plus
  • Ideally 1-2 years of experience in project management, medical education/communications, or in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Project management skills and/or certifications are an advantage
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Knowledge and capability in the digital realm with programs such as Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator are an asset
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficient in French (oral and written) a strong asset
