The successful candidate acts, in collaboration with the Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, as a liaison and coordinator between the internal and external partners in respect of the global management of projects, in order to ensure compliance with the established budgets and deadlines, implementation of activities and allocation of required resources.


  • - Plan projects and contribute to the establishment of the related budgets and update deadlines as required.

    - Approve the monitoring plan of projects and external partners, and the performance criteria.

    - Determine and anticipate the difficulties that might arise during the execution of projects and determine the contingency plans and strategies to overcome these difficulties.

  • - Carry out the various follow-ups related to the managed projects and supervise the external partners.

    - Prepare and present project progress reports.

    - Prepare project follow-up tables and diagrams (e.g. Gantt Chart).

    - Prepare and enhance project presentations.

    - Draft projects’ minutes of meetings.

    - Approve the expenses related to own responsibilities.

  • - Ensure proper execution of the projects.

    - Discuss the encountered difficulties with the team members.

    - Discuss team members’ lack of performance, when necessary, with own supervisor.




· University degree in a scientific field (e.g. chemistry, biology, biochemistry, microbiology).

· Project management training is an asset

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in at least one of these areas: quality, clinical affairs; regulatory affairs; pharmaceutical development.

· Basic knowledge of drug regulation.

· Experience in managing external partners is an asset.

· Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and intuitive use of the Internet.

· Knowledge of MS Project is considered an important asset.

· Bilingual (French and English), spoken and written.

· Project management skills

· Planning and organizational skills

· Critical thinking

· Disciplined in own tasks

· Available for occasional travel
