Brunel are seeking an Fuel Reconciliation Officer to join a global leader Our client, a Global leader in the Iron Ore industry, on a minimum 6 month contract in Perth CBD, with possible on going work.

  • Maintain and update data and reports related to all diesel delivery and distribution transactions.
  • Reconcile fuel deliveries against supporting documentation in required time frame to ensure proper fuel costs, taxes and freight charges.
  • Reconcile the fuel bills of lading and supplier invoices to ensure that fuel suppliers have taken payment based strictly upon established terms and conditions.
  • Enter all fuel related transactions into SAP/Ariba to ensure accounting systems reflect the correct transactions and costs.
  • Maintain records of Fuel Cards that are used across all sites, including ordering/cancelling cards, creating
  • Purchase Orders and receipting in SAP
  • Analyse non reconciled invoices and transactions and provide Accounts Payable department with detailed description/ status of all non-reconciled invoices and transactions

Requirements

Requirements

  • Strong accounts payable experience within a large team.
  • A strong working knowledge of SAP and Excel.
  • Capable of accurately processing a high volume of individual line items.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and associated cost control systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative, be self-directed and work under minimal supervision.
