On behalf of our client, a World Leader within the Energy / Oil & Gas industry, Brunel has an exciting 12 months contract opportunity based in the heart of the city for a Senior Advisor - Organisational Change. You will play a key role in providing Change Management - changes to business processes, positions and organisation structure; and applications / systems - with a focus on maximising employee adoption, minimising resistance and increasing benefits realisation and value for the organisation.

  • Engage key stakeholders and coach key project personnel in helping them fulfil the role of change sponsors and change leaders
  • Support project managers and teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans
  • Provide direct support and coaching for Managers and Supervisors as they help their direct reports through change transitions.
  • Responsible for managing, monitoring and delivering organisation change projects
  • Develop change management strategies and plans based on situational awareness of the details of the change, completion of change assessments and the insights into the groups being impacted by the change.
  • Work with Project Teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan
  • Provide regular updates and feedback with regards to the progression of projects
  • Ensure projects are captured within the Organisation Change Management (OCM) Register for accurate visibility and coordination of all Corporate change initiatives across the business.
  • Organise and administer change management initiatives across the company Australia sites as required
  • Work collaboratively with the HR Business Partners to identify opportunities for module/workshop delivery within the business
  • Facilitate the delivery of Organisational change management training modules and workshops to the business as required
  • Establish strong working relationships with other related roles within the business, eg Corporate Communication, HR Business Partners, HSE Advisors and Continuous Improvement
  • Embraces and respects cultural diversity and demonstrate respect for multi-cultural differences



  • Tertiary qualifications in appropriate discipline (Business, Psychology or Human Resources) or equivalent industry experience
  • Education in Change Management discipline, eg PROSCI, Post-Graduate Certificate in Change Management
  • At least 4+ years relevant experience
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies, preferably PROSCI
  • Understanding of project and change management approaches, disciplines, tools and phases of the project life-cycle
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Able to work effectively at all levels
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Problem-solving and root cause identification skills
  • Strong analytical and decision-making ability
  • Must be a team player and able to work with and through others
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Previous experience working within a large organisation
