Brunel have partnered with one of Australia’s leading EPCM delivery Service Partners to successfully recruit and place a suitably qualified Senior Mechanical Engineer for a 12 Month contract position with view of permanency, supporting our Clients team in either Pinjarra or Kwinana.

  • Preparing equipment technical specifications
  • Preparing equipment data sheets
  • Preparing Scopes of Work
  • Preparing hours estimates for work
  • Contributing to work schedules

Requirements

Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience
  • Alumina Industry familiarity
  • Design based work experience not project engineering
  • AS4041 piping design experience
  • Basic AS1210 pressure equipment design experience
  • AP650 and 620 tank design experience
  • Basic structural static pipe support design to AS3990
  • Some materials handling experience is desirable
  • Hydraulic modelling using AFT Fathom or Fluid Flow 3 software
  • FEA experience / familiarity using Strand, ANSIS or other
  • Pipe stress analysis experience / familiarity
