Senior Mechanical Reliability Engineer to join a collaborative team of engineers tasked with major maintenance builds throughout Australia.

Our client is a leading Engineering and Operations service provider that pride themselves on their ability to provide a wide range of engineering expertise and solutions whilst offer outstanding service. This is a permanent opportunity at our client’s operations in Brisbane. You will sit within the Asset Management team who have a large portfolio of key clients across various verticals including Oil & Gas, Mining & Infrastructure. This position will be specifically focused on servicing their Mining clients, however we are open to receiving applications from Engineers who have a background in Mining or Oil & Gas. As the Senior Mechanical Reliability Engineer, you will;

  • Support the development and implementation of asset integrity management systems and processes.
  • Business development support.
  • Assist in preparation of proposals.
  • Customer interfacing.
  • Reliability & Maintenance Engineering activities.
  • Establishment of operating and maintenance philosophies.
  • OPEX and CAPEX studies.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years operational experience in maintenance or Associate Diploma in Engineering or similar with 8 years’ experience in relevant field.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and manage customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of up to 10 people to produce the required outcomes.
  • Hydrocarbon or Mining industry experience.
  • SAP experience
  • Results focused
  • Innovation – Look beyond the current context of the market
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to our clients standards.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
