Software Developer

About this role

The Software Developer role will be working in the Operations Improvement – Data Management team. We are looking for a candidate that has a very strong technical ability in custom software development for web based applications. This position will add value to the business by facilitating the creation and support of computer software solutions that will be used by Operations to make more informed business decisions from;

• Design and Implement technical solutions either individually or within a small team that will be submitted and used within day to day operations;
• Ensure sufficient documentation, quality and testing is provided to ensure robustness and longevity of solutions developed;
• Engaging stakeholders to evaluate requirements and to demonstrate features and ideas as they are developed Work within frameworks and design principals set out by senior lead;
• Adding new features and extending existing features to solutions already developed by the Data Management team;

• 3+ years design and implementation of computer software solutions;
• Proven experience in Microsoft technologies;
• Exposure to mining will be beneficial (but not mandatory).

• Visual Studio, C#, Angular development;

• Strong focus and attention to detail and accuracy;
• Good estimation and documentation skills;

• Technical and Practical Knowledge of C#, SQL;
• Exposure to various Microsoft development technologies;
• Knowledge of building n-tier applications;
• Good Knowledge of Angular and other web based technologies.
