About this role: Staff Process Engineer

We are looking to hire a skilled process engineer to oversee the design and implementation of our company processes. As a process engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing process strategies, managing process resources, optimizing current processes, and maintaining process documents. Ultimately, your job is to maintain the efficiency of production in order to reduce costs.

To ensure success as a process engineer you should have extensive experience in process design, excellent technical skills, and high-level analytical skills. A top-class process engineer can analyze a process system and implement simple yet effective changes to boost production.

  • Perform process design calculations and develop deliverables such as hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, process simulations, Heat and Material Balances (H&MB), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Perform chemical engineering design activities on projects from the conceptual phase through design completion.
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate work requiring judgement in the independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
  • Perform work that involves conventional engineering practices but may involve a variety of complex features.
  • May coordinate departmental and divisional project studies and report preparation assignments.
  • All other duties as assigned.



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Chemical Engineering
  • Familiarity with process control
  • 3+ years of experience in chemical engineering required, consulting experience a plus
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
