On behalf of our client, a Global High Profile Service Provider to the Oil & Gas industry, Brunel are looking for anyone with a labouring or trades background who is interested in getting into the Oil & Gas Industry.

ENTRY LEVEL POSITION, NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

Training will be provided. This Tool Technician position will be workshop based in Jandakot.

  • Under general supervision, repairs and performs maintenance on conventional tools, down-hole tools and other equipment used in the application for down-hole tools.
  • Areas of specialization may include: mechanical aptitude, pressure testing, surface equipment, and down-hole tools.
  • Performs maintenance, inspects surface equipment, and perform repairs.
  • Assembles and disassembles down-hole tools.
  • Basic computer skills are preferred.
  • Licence to drive commercial equipment may be required.
  • Given the nature of oil field service work, the ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary.
  • The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.
  • Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
  • Basic computer skills are preferred.
  • Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
  • Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process.
  • Previous experience with oilfield completion tools preferred but not essential.

  • Possess full Australian working rights
  • National Police Clearance
  • Candidate must reside in Perth, Australia
  • Must have a C-class vehicle licence
  • Forklift licence (preferred)
  • Dogman ticket (preferred)
