About this role: Warehouse Materials Specialist

Brunel Australia and working with a leader in the Oil & Gas industry to locate and place a highly organised, hard working individual in their Warehousing team as a Materials Specialist.
Offering work life balance and a family friendly location, this role is Monday to Friday at our clients Headquarters in Jandakot WA.

The Materials Specialist is the backbone of the warehouse and is responsible for executing warehouse activities within the assigned product Line and location. You will be responsible for inventory accuracy, both physically and in the warehouse management system.

  • Perform unpacking, inspecting, labelling, receiving, storing, picking, packing, issuing, disposing of, and cyclecounting of warehouse goods
  • Accept supplier deliveries, checking items received are in suitable condition and match the packing list orpurchase order; report discrepancies
  • Ensure outgoing inventory items are suitably packed and issued with correct and complete documentation
  • Optimize warehouse bin locations to improve efficiency and safety
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping within the warehouse and in shipping and receiving areas
  • Perform inventory cycle counting and support periodic physical counts
  • As directed by supervisor, perform tasks associated with Kitting and Kanban point-of-use replenishment andother materials management initiatives



  • 1 - 5 years’ warehouse experience
  • A current forklift licence is essential for the position
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Sound computer skill (Microsoft Excel competency is required) with a high level of data entry accuracy
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Honesty and integrity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ready to start work ASAP



A 3 month contract with potential of extension for the right person
